| GENERAL REGISTRATION INFORMATION | 1. All programs are subject to cancellation or schedule change. 2. Preregistration is required, no later than one working day before the first class. Spaces are filled on a first-come, first served basis. Should the class, program or trip be filled, we will return your payment and place your name on a waiting list to fill openings as they occur. Lake Mission Viejo Association reserves the right to decline or cancel registration of participants prior to or during scheduled programs, for good and sufficient reason. Programs presented by the Recreation Department are for your information and enjoyment. They do not necessarily reflect the views or policies of LMVA. The lake does not endorse any person or product. Should there be a need, the Board of Directors reserves the right to change courses, programs, or presenters. |
| REGISTRATION POLICIES | A. No registration is taken at class. Classes not prorated. B. Your check or confirmation e-mail is your receipt. C. A $5 processing fee is charged on refunds. Please see the Refund Policies below D. A $10 fee charged on returned checks. E. If a class/program is cancelled by LMVA, a full refund will be processed within two weeks. F.Times, dates, and locations are subject to change without notice. G. Each class has preset minimums and maximums determined by the instructor and/or staff according to availability and/or facility limitations. Please register early to ensure your enrollment. |
| REFUND POLICIES | On-site classes: No refunds will be made for classes after the second class is held. It is incumbent on the lake member to notify the Recreation Office before the second class meeting. A $5.00 processing fee is charged on refunds. Classes are never prorated and no credit can be given for missed classes for any reason. One-day workshop cancellations must be made at least 2 business days in advance to receive a refund minus a $ 5.00 processing fee. Off- site classes: All classes conducted away from Lake property are subject to the individual business owner's refund policy. No refunds are available once the class session begins. No transfers are available. A $5.00 processing fee is charged on all refunds. CAMPS: All on-site and off-site camps are subject to the following refund policies: Refund of registration fees will be granted only if notification to LMVA is made SEVEN DAYS prior to the start of camp. A $5.00 processing fee will be charged or LMVA will transfer the full payment to another program. The programs that fall under this policy are North and East Beach Day Camps, Tween Camp, Little Folks Camp, Westwind Sailing, Junior Guards A, B, and C, Skyhawks, Gymnastics, any other program listed as "Camp". Camps are never prorated and no credit can be given for missed classes for any reason. |
| LIABILITY INDEMNITY | Your registration will include the following statement
"In consideration of your accepting this registration, I hereby agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Lake Mission Viejo Association Your signature - or the electronic equivalent indicating your acceptance of this statement - will be required as part of the registration process. |
